Cary Efurd
FOUNDER
In 1988, Cary and Debby married. Cary, being a life-long entrepreneur, has succeeded and failed multiple times in business. Cary and Debby started Efurd Properties in 2008, which grew to a large property management and real estate brokerage in the DFW metroplex.. In 2017, they sold the business and moved to Pittsburg, where Cary was raised.
In 2004, Cary took God at His word and wanted to prove God wrong, so they started tithing (Malachi 3:10). It was then Cary and Debby quickly learned God can’t be tested as the blessings poured down from heaven above.
Cary and Debby have lived through the peaks and valleys of life with Jesus Christ as the center of their marriage. They are passionate about their faith. Their stories of recovery and redemption are inspirational and have helped many find hope in Jesus Christ.

Debby Efurd
Co-Founder
Debby, born and raised in Dallas, found her true calling in ministry in 2011 by offering post-abortion recovery Bible studies. In 2014, Debby founded Initiative 180 and its program of abortion recovery, Peace After the Storm. A graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a B.A. in Counseling, she uses her skillset to reach women struggling with life issues. She has written numerous articles published in LifeNews, Christian Post, The Baptist Standard, and is the author of Go Tell It! released in 2015. She currently shares much of her life at her blog, “The Second Mile” (debbyefurd.com).
Cary and Debby live in Pittsburg, Texas, attend First Baptist Church Pittsburg, and have three married children and six grandchildren.
